"Written in the Sky" - Mounted Art Print

"Written in the Sky" is a print is of an original watercolour, ink and calligraphy illustration by Deborah, and the final piece is printed on our luxurious linen textured cardstock using archival pigment based inks for gallery-quality prints.

There is an option to incorporate colour to this art print. The default option is black calligraphy but there is an option to change the colour of the calligraphy. We have a palette of 6 colours for you to choose from, with the hex codes added (if you would like to look up the exact shade that we work with). 

This piece is available in A5, A4, and A3 (all mounted with a white mount board included in price. The total size includes the mount). Choose a frame to make it a ready-made gift! (in A5 or A4)

Each stage of the process, from the initial design and artwork, to final printing and packaging in our 100% compostable wrap takes place in our studio, buried in the green surrounds of the South Cavan countryside.

This listing is for a custom calligraphy print of up to 10 words. Longer pieces would be a "commissioned calligraphy piece" - please drop a line to info@threelittlebirds.ie to enquire about availability.

The calligraphy is handwritten, and following digitisation, is then printed on a thick luxurious linen textured white linen textured cardstock. The default option is black handlettering on white background, but there is an option to incorporate colour to this art print, by changing the colour of the calligraphy and/or changing the background colour. We have a palette of 6 colours for you to choose from, with the hex codes added (if you would like to look up the exact shade that we work with). Note: if you choose to only change the background colour, we will keep the calligraphy in black or white (whichever suits the chosen background colour best!)

This listing is for creating a print in the same style as our Focail calligraphy print range (see here). If you are looking for a print to celebrate the meaning of an Irish word that isn't already in our range then this listing is for you! 

Using this option, you specify the word, the pronunciation that you would like included (or leave this out if you'd rather not include it), and the meaning that you would like included too. With this option, you can add your own words to the meaning, it is a completely personal piece. You can also add one of our beautiful Irish made wooden frames (for A5 or A4), making it a ready made gift!
